a few scattered recs include blackbeards bbq (jill's grandparent's enjoy), sonny's bbq, gargano's italian, plantation grille (see below), jimmy's hotdogs (if you're a dogfan), and if you're willing to make the hour trip to americus georgia there's a historic inn and restaurant called windsor that might be worth a shot.
